| Scott #24 Blue, Type V, Relief A Issued only Perforate. The impressive plate damage located in the upper right quadrant makes this position easy to plate. This damage may have occurred sometime during the plate's printing life. The impression shown in Figure 1. below shows no plate damage at the upper right. The Neinken plating diagrams illustrate all the indicated plating marks but no information is discussed about early impressions lacking the plate damage. Similar damage can be seen on Position 3L10 and the red arrow to the right of Ornament M is the extension of plating marks shown on Position 1R10. |
