PLATING NOTES:
Ornaments L, M and N on stamps coming from the 2nd horizontal row right pane exhibit various combinations of shortness or completeness. The different combinations can be helpful in quickly narrowing down position possibilities. 19R5 shows Ornaments L and M complete and Ornament N slightly short. (See Below) This position has a break in the top curved line above the "S" of "US." Also note the lack of dashes below the top line. Many of the Type Va "B" reliefs share this feature.

Figure 1. (Below) Red arrows indicate plating marks shown on plating diagrams, a small dot in "T" of CENT and BLURS below "E" and "N" of CENT. The dot in "T" is also found on 17R5 and 18R5, where it becomes fainter. The violet arrows also point out other constant marks, not shown on plating diagrams.
