Figure 2. (Below) A patch of white in the band of blur below the "E" of CENT. The clear area is not illustrated in the Neinken plating diagrams. This feature has been confirmed as constant and is helpful for definitively confirming this position.

Figure 3. (Below) The image below from another copy of 27R5 shows what is possibly a plate crack, scratch or curl. It is not known at this time whether this mark appears on early or late plate impressions.
