FULL "Eye curls" occur on Positions 3L7 to 10L7 and 1R7 to 3R7. This position shows the eye curl weakening. It should be noted that this position is not shown in the Neinken plating diagrams.

Figure 1. (Below) The famous "eye curl" first reported by the late Morris Fortgang. Full "Eye curls" occur on Positions 3L7 to 10L7 and 1R7 to 3R7. This position is interesting as the flaw on the relief roller that created the eye curl has partially fallen off by the time this position was entered onto the plate. This position would be the second to the last "A" relief entered. It should be noted that the inverted comma under the "T" in POSTAGE still shows but also weakening. (see figure 3 below)

Figure 2. (Below) A small dot and blur in the "O" of ONE and several blobs of color below the lower left ball and scroll would definitively confirm this position.

Figure 3. (Below) Wherever the eye curl occurs on a position, there is also a marking which looks like an inverted comma under the "T" in POSTAGE.
