Neinken indicates that 40R8 has no plating marks. The archivist used a photo of 40R8 that showed blurs of color to the left of the "i" at the end of Cincinnati to conclude that this subject might be 40R8. The violet arrows indicate other marks of interest which may or may not be consistant or reliable for plating this position.
