It is interesting to note that the D reliefs coming from the 8th horizontal row (71R9 thru 80R9 and 77L9 thru 80L9) have blobs of color in the O and T of POSTAGE. Neinken notes this only on 72R9, 78R9, 80R9 and 80L9 but not the other positions.

FIGURE 1. (Below) Faint vertical line of color extending down from Ornament D as illustrated in the Neinken plating diagrams. There is also a blur of color in Ornament B which appears consistent but is not noted in the plating diagram.

FIGURE 2. (Below) Diagonal line of color at the top of the D relief "side scratch" as illustrated in the plating diagram. Additionally there are 3 dots of color (see red arrows below) not illustrated in the plating diagrams but are confirmed as consistent here.
